NOMOI Revenue Cycle Academy
Training for hospital revenue cycle teams · Saudi Arabia and GCC

Learn revenue cycle management the way it is actually practiced in a hospital billing office.

Six modules on claim lifecycle, denial triage, coding accuracy, and NPHIES submission checks, built from a decade of hands-on hospital RCM work. Start with one real lesson at no cost, then continue at your own pace.

No account required for the free lesson. Takes about 20 minutes.

Built by Assel Wanigasekara, CPC (AAPC) and CRCR (HFMA), with over a decade in hospital revenue cycle management across UAE health systems, spanning claim submission, denials, and coding audit work. Lesson design draws on an MSc in Occupational Psychology, applied here to how the material is sequenced and tested for retention rather than dumped as a slide deck.

Why this exists

Most RCM training is either a generic coding bootcamp or a vendor's product demo. This is neither.

Built from the work, not a curriculum vendor

Every module comes from patterns seen across years of real hospital billing operations: which denial reasons repeat, which coding gaps get caught late, which submission defects cost the most time. Examples in the lessons are illustrative and built to teach the pattern, not drawn from any patient or hospital record.

Built for the Saudi and GCC market

Coding rules, payer behavior, and submission standards differ by country. This course is written for teams working against NPHIES and GCC payer requirements, not a generic US-centric curriculum with the currency swapped.

One concept per lesson, checked, not skimmed

Each module ends with a worked exercise using clearly labeled sample data. You apply the framework before moving on, instead of watching a video and hoping it sticks.

A visible path, not a video library

The course tracks where you are against your own progress: lessons completed, exercises passed, modules remaining. There is no leaderboard and nothing compares you to other learners.

Curriculum

Six modules, ordered the way a claim actually moves through a hospital revenue cycle: from registration to paid or denied.

01

Denial pattern triage

Read a denial worklist, separate a repeat pattern from a one-off, and assign each item an owner and a next action. The free lesson below.

02

Claim lifecycle fundamentals

Registration through payment: the checkpoints where a claim gets delayed, held, or written off, and how to spot which stage a stuck claim is actually sitting in.

Full course
03

Coding accuracy and documentation checks

How coding gaps get introduced, what a defensible coding review looks like, and the difference between a missing code and an unsupported one.

Full course
04

Payer rule change management

Turning a payer circular into a dated, checkable billing rule instead of a forgotten PDF in an inbox.

Full course
05

Encounter overlap and duplicate service review

Reading conflicting encounter periods and repeated service lines the way a payer's system flags them, before they turn into a denial.

Full course
06

NPHIES submission standards

Structural checks on an outbound Saudi claim bundle: required fields, sequencing, and the defects that get a clean claim rejected before a human ever reads it.

Bringing a whole billing team

Team seats for a billing, coding, or denials unit are enrolled together and priced per group. Tell us how many seats and which country you bill in, and we will confirm the per-seat rate and set the team up.
